[162] Conditioned by a phenomenon originated by mind (cittasamuṭṭhāna dhamma), a phenomenon originated by mind arises by object condition (ārammaṇa-paccaya): three [cases], similar to the Dependent [chapter] (paṭicca).
Conditioned by a phenomenon not originated by mind (no-cittasamuṭṭhāna), a phenomenon not originated by mind arises by object condition: conditioned by the eye base (cakkhāyatana), eye-consciousness (cakkhuviññāṇa) [arises]; the body base (kāyāyatana) … ; conditioned by the base (vatthu), the mind (citta) [arises].
Conditioned by a phenomenon not originated by mind, a phenomenon originated by mind arises by object condition: conditioned by eye-consciousness, the associated aggregates (sampayuttakā khandhā) [arise]; body-consciousness (kāyaviññāṇa) … ; conditioned by the mind, the associated aggregates [arise]; conditioned by the base, the aggregates originated by mind [arise]; at the moment of rebirth-linking (paṭisandhikkhaṇa), both [cases] also.
