[161] Conditioned by a phenomenon originated by mind (cittasamuṭṭhāna dhamma), a phenomenon originated by mind arises by root condition (hetu-paccaya): three (cases), similar to the dependence chapter (paṭiccavāra).
Conditioned by a phenomenon not originated by mind (no-cittasamuṭṭhāna dhamma), a phenomenon not originated by mind arises by root condition: conditioned by the base (vatthu), mind (citta) (arises); at the moment of rebirth-linking (paṭisandhikkhaṇa), similar to the dependence chapter.
Conditioned by a phenomenon not originated by mind, a phenomenon originated by mind arises by root condition: conditioned by mind, the associated aggregates (sampayuttakā khandhā) and mind-originated form (rūpa) (arise); conditioned by the base, the aggregates originated by mind (arise); at the moment of rebirth-linking, both (cases) should be done.
