[614] A phenomenon (dhamma) with roots to be abandoned by seeing (dassanena pahātabbahetuka), conjoined (saṃsaṭṭha) with a phenomenon with roots to be abandoned by seeing, arises by root condition (hetu-paccaya): Three aggregates (khandha) conjoined with one aggregate with roots to be abandoned by seeing; two aggregates … . A phenomenon without roots to be abandoned by seeing (na dassanena pahātabbahetuka), conjoined with a phenomenon without roots to be abandoned by seeing, arises by root condition: Three aggregates conjoined with one aggregate without roots to be abandoned by seeing; two aggregates …; at the moment of rebirth-linking (paṭisandhi) … .
