Sukhasahagataduka

Abhidhammapiṭaka · Paṭṭhāna (4) · Vol. 43 · Section 693

[693] Dependent on a phenomenon (dhamma) accompanied by pleasure (sukhasahagata), there arises a phenomenon accompanied by pleasure, by root condition (hetu-paccaya): dependent on one aggregate (khandha) accompanied by pleasure, two aggregates [arise]; dependent on two aggregates, one aggregate [arises]; at rebirth-linking (paṭisandhi). Dependent on a phenomenon accompanied by pleasure, there arises a phenomenon not accompanied by pleasure, by root condition: dependent on the aggregates accompanied by pleasure, [there arise] pleasure (sukha) and mind-originated form (cittasamuṭṭhāna rūpa). Thus the pleasure-accompanied dyad (sukhasahagata-duka) should be elaborated in the same way as the Dependence Section in the positive method (anuloma-paṭiccavāra) of the with-rapture dyad (sappītika-duka).
