[696] In the not-root condition (na-hetu), nine; in not-object (na-ārammaṇa), three; in not-decisive-support (na-upanissaya), three; in not-prenascence (na-purejāta), nine; in not-postnascence (na-pacchājāta), nine; in not-repetition (na-āsevana), nine; in not-kamma (na-kamma), four; in not-result (na-vipāka), nine; in not-nutriment (na-āhāra), one; in not-faculty (na-indriya), one; in not-jhāna (na-jhāna), six; in not-path (na-magga), nine; in not-association (na-sampayutta), three; in not-dissociation (na-vippayutta), six; in not-absence (no-natthi), three; in not-disappearance (no-vigata), three.
Thus too the other two enumerations (gaṇanā) [should be done]. The conascent chapter (sahajātavāra) too is similar to the dependent chapter (paṭiccavāra). In the conditioned chapter (paccayavāra) both occurrence (pavatti) and rebirth-linking (paṭisandhi) should be elaborated; as also in the negative (paccanīya) of the conditioned chapter of the with-rapture dyad (sappītika-duka), in occurrence the base (vatthu) too should be elaborated; as in the with-rapture dyad, there is only one delusion (moha). The support chapter (nissayavāra), the conjoined chapter (saṃsaṭṭhavāra), and the associated chapter (sampayuttavāra) too should be done in the same way as the with-rapture dyad.
