[731] With a sense-sphere phenomenon (kāmāvacara dhamma) as condition, a sense-sphere phenomenon arises, not by predominance condition (na-adhipati-paccaya): one [aggregate] … as far as the non-percipient beings (asaññasattā). With a sense-sphere phenomenon as condition, a phenomenon that is not sense-sphere (na-kāmāvacara) arises, not by predominance condition: with the base (vatthu) as condition, [there arises] the predominance (adhipati) that is not sense-sphere; with the base as condition, resultant (vipāka) aggregates that are not sense-sphere; rebirth-linking (paṭisandhi). With a sense-sphere phenomenon as condition, a sense-sphere phenomenon and a phenomenon that is not sense-sphere arise, not by predominance condition: with the base as condition, resultant aggregates that are not sense-sphere; with the primary elements (mahābhūta) as condition, mind-originated matter (cittasamuṭṭhāna-rūpa); rebirth-linking. With a phenomenon that is not sense-sphere as condition, a phenomenon that is not sense-sphere arises, not by predominance condition: three (cases), similar to the Paṭicca[-vāra]. With a sense-sphere phenomenon and a phenomenon that is not sense-sphere as condition, a sense-sphere phenomenon arises, not by predominance condition: similar to the Paṭicca[-vāra]. The root: with aggregates that are not sense-sphere and the base as condition, [there arises] the predominance that is not sense-sphere; with one resultant aggregate that is not sense-sphere and the base as condition, three aggregates [arise]; with two aggregates … at the moment of rebirth-linking … The root: with one resultant sense-sphere aggregate and the base as condition, three aggregates [arise]; with two aggregates …; with resultant aggregates that are not sense-sphere and the primary elements as condition, mind-originated matter; rebirth-linking. … Not by decisive-support condition (na-upanissaya-paccaya): three (cases). Not by repetition condition (na-āsevana-paccaya): in the pure (suddhaka) [sections] and in that mixed with the immaterial (arūpamissaka), "resultant" is to be specified; in that mixed with materiality (rūpamissaka) there is none.
