[792] Conditioned by a formless-sphere (arūpāvacara) phenomenon (dhamma), a formless-sphere phenomenon arises, not by predominance condition (adhipati-paccaya):
Conditioned by the formless-sphere aggregates (khandha), formless-sphere predominance [arises]; [conditioned by] one resultant (vipāka) formless-sphere aggregate … rebirth-linking (paṭisandhi).
Conditioned by a non-formless-sphere (na-arūpāvacara) phenomenon, a non-formless-sphere phenomenon arises, not by predominance condition:
[Conditioned by] one non-formless-sphere aggregate … rebirth-linking, up to the non-percipient beings (asaññasattā).
