[821] In dependence on a phenomenon not leading out (aniyyānika dhamma), there arises a phenomenon not leading out, by not-root condition (na-hetupaccayā): in dependence on one rootless (ahetuka) aggregate (khandha) not leading out, three aggregates and mind-originated form (cittasamuṭṭhāna-rūpa) [arise] — as far as the non-percipient beings (asaññasattā); in dependence on the eye base (cakkhāyatana), eye-consciousness (cakkhuviññāṇa) [arises] … in dependence on the [heart-]base (vatthu), rootless aggregates not leading out [arise]; in dependence on the aggregates accompanied by doubt (vicikicchā), accompanied by restlessness (uddhacca), and on the [heart-]base, there arises delusion (moha) accompanied by doubt, accompanied by restlessness.
