[854] Dependent on a phenomenon (dhamma) with conflict (saraṇa), a phenomenon with conflict arises by root condition (hetu-paccaya): dependent on one aggregate (khandha) with conflict, three aggregates [arise]; [dependent on] two aggregates … .
The five questions are similar to those of the immaterial-sphere dyad (arūpāvacara-duka), similar to the dependent [chapter] in the positive method (anuloma-paṭicca[vāra]).
