[785] Dependent on an immaterial-sphere phenomenon (arūpāvacara dhamma), an immaterial-sphere phenomenon arises, not by predominance condition (na-adhipati-paccaya): Dependent on immaterial-sphere aggregates (khandhā), immaterial-sphere predominance (adhipati) [arises]; dependent on one resultant (vipāka) immaterial-sphere aggregate, three aggregates [arise]; [dependent on] two aggregates … rebirth-linking (paṭisandhi). Dependent on a phenomenon that is not immaterial-sphere, a phenomenon that is not immaterial-sphere arises, not by predominance condition: Dependent on one aggregate that is not immaterial-sphere, three aggregates and mind-originated form (cittasamuṭṭhāna-rūpa) [arise]; [dependent on] two aggregates … rebirth-linking, up to the non-percipient beings (asaññasattā). … Not by immediacy condition (na-anantara-paccaya): … not by decisive-support condition (na-upanissaya-paccaya).
