[1032] An unwholesome (akusala) phenomenon (dhamma) that is both a root (hetu) and associated with a root (hetu-sampayutta) is a condition for an unwholesome phenomenon that is both a root and associated with a root by object condition (ārammaṇa-paccaya); is a condition by connascence condition (sahajāta-paccaya); is a condition by decisive-support condition (upanissaya-paccaya).
