[124] Dependent on (paṭicca) a resultant (vipāka) phenomenon (dhamma) that is a root (hetu), a resultant phenomenon that is a root arises through root condition (hetu-paccaya). Dependent on a resultant phenomenon that is a root, a resultant phenomenon that is a not-root arises through root condition. Dependent on a resultant phenomenon that is a root, resultant phenomena that are roots and resultant phenomena that are not-roots arise through root condition.
