[1269] An unwholesome phenomenon (dhamma) that is both a fetter (saññojana) and associated with fetters (saññojana-sampayutta) is a condition, by root condition (hetu-paccaya), for an unwholesome phenomenon that is both a fetter and associated with fetters.
