[1377] Dependent on a wholesome phenomenon (dhamma) dissociated from hindrances (nīvaraṇa) but favorable to hindrances, there arises a wholesome phenomenon dissociated from hindrances but favorable to hindrances, by root condition (hetu-paccaya). Dependent on a wholesome phenomenon dissociated from hindrances and not favorable to hindrances, there arises a wholesome phenomenon dissociated from hindrances and not favorable to hindrances, by root condition.
