[1394] In dependence on (paṭicca) an indeterminate (abyākata) phenomenon (dhamma) that is adhered to (parāmaṭṭha), an indeterminate phenomenon that is adhered to arises by root condition (hetu-paccaya).
In dependence on an indeterminate phenomenon that is not adhered to (aparāmaṭṭha), an indeterminate phenomenon that is not adhered to arises by root condition. (Three.)
In dependence on an indeterminate phenomenon that is adhered to and an indeterminate phenomenon that is not adhered to, an indeterminate phenomenon that is adhered to arises by root condition.
