[1361] In dependence on (paṭicca) an indeterminate (abyākata) phenomenon (dhamma) that is favorable to hindrances (nīvaraṇiya), there arises an indeterminate phenomenon that is favorable to hindrances, by root condition (hetu-paccaya).
In dependence on an indeterminate phenomenon that is not favorable to hindrances (anīvaraṇiya), there arises an indeterminate phenomenon that is not favorable to hindrances, by root condition. (Three.)
In dependence on an indeterminate phenomenon that is favorable to hindrances and an indeterminate phenomenon that is not favorable to hindrances, there arises an indeterminate phenomenon that is favorable to hindrances, by root condition.
