[1891] Dependent on a phenomenon (dhamma) with conflict (saraṇa) and with a future object (anāgatārammaṇa), there arises a phenomenon with conflict and with a future object, by root condition (hetu-paccaya). Dependent on a phenomenon without conflict (araṇa) and with a future object, there arises a phenomenon without conflict and with a future object, by root condition.
