[1901] In dependence on a phenomenon (dhamma) with conflict (saraṇa), having an external object (bahiddhārammaṇa), there arises a phenomenon with conflict, having an external object, by root condition (hetu-paccaya). In dependence on a phenomenon without conflict (araṇa), having an external object, there arises a phenomenon without conflict, having an external object, by root condition.
