[210] A phenomenon (dhamma) that is a root (hetu), not-clung-to but subject to clinging (anupādinnupādāniya), is a condition for a phenomenon that is a root, not-clung-to but subject to clinging, by way of decisive-support condition (upanissaya-paccaya): object decisive-support (ārammaṇūpanissaya), proximity decisive-support (anantarūpanissaya), natural decisive-support (pakatūpanissaya).
