[224] A phenomenon (dhamma) that is not a root (na-hetu), not clung-to and not subject to clinging (anupādinna-anupādāniya), is a condition for a phenomenon that is not a root, not clung-to and not subject to clinging, by object condition (ārammaṇa-paccaya): three.
