[324] A phenomenon (dhamma) that is a root (hetu), accompanied by rapture (pītisahagata), is a condition for a phenomenon that is a root, accompanied by rapture, by object condition (ārammaṇa-paccaya): three (cases). A phenomenon that is not a root (na hetu), accompanied by rapture, is a condition for a phenomenon that is not a root, accompanied by rapture, by object condition: nine (cases).
