[418] Dependent on a phenomenon (dhamma) that is a root (hetu) and has roots to be abandoned by development (bhāvanāya-pahātabbahetuka), there arises a phenomenon that is a root and has roots to be abandoned by development, by root condition (hetu-paccaya). (Three.)
