[635] An inferior phenomenon (dhamma) that is a root (hetu) is a condition for an inferior phenomenon that is a root by object condition (ārammaṇa-paccaya); is a condition by connascence condition (sahajāta-paccaya); is a condition by decisive-support condition (upanissaya-paccaya).
