[680] Dependent on a phenomenon (dhamma) that is a root (hetu) and fixed in rightness (sammattaniyata), a phenomenon that is a root and fixed in rightness arises through root condition (hetu-paccaya): three. Dependent on a phenomenon that is a non-root (na-hetu) and fixed in rightness, a phenomenon that is a non-root and fixed in rightness arises through root condition: three. Dependent on a phenomenon that is a root and fixed in rightness and a phenomenon that is a non-root and fixed in rightness, a phenomenon that is a root and fixed in rightness arises through root condition: three.
