[687] A phenomenon (dhamma) fixed in rightness (sammattaniyata) that is a root (hetu) is a condition, by way of predominance condition (adhipati-paccaya), for a phenomenon fixed in rightness that is a root: conascence-predominance (sahajātādhipati) — three (cases). A phenomenon fixed in rightness that is not a root is a condition, by way of predominance condition, for a phenomenon fixed in rightness that is not a root: conascence-predominance — three (cases).
