[558] An exalted (mahaggata) phenomenon that is a root (hetu) is a condition for an exalted phenomenon that is a root by predominance condition (adhipati-paccaya): conascence-predominance (sahajātādhipati) — three (cases). An exalted phenomenon that is not a root is a condition for an exalted phenomenon that is not a root by predominance condition: conascence-predominance — three (cases).
