[93] Dependent (paṭicca) on a phenomenon (dhamma) that is not a root (na-hetu), associated with painful feeling (dukkhāya vedanāya sampayutta), there arises a phenomenon that is not a root, associated with painful feeling — not by root condition (na hetu-paccayā).
