[1098] Dependent on a phenomenon (dhamma) with an object (sārammaṇa) that is a not-root (na-hetu), a phenomenon that is not without an object (na-anārammaṇa) and is not a not-root (na-nahetu) arises by root condition (hetupaccayā). Dependent on a phenomenon without an object (anārammaṇa) that is a not-root, a phenomenon that is not without an object and is not a not-root arises by root condition. Dependent on a phenomenon with an object that is a not-root and a phenomenon without an object that is a not-root, a phenomenon that is not without an object and is not a not-root arises by root condition.
