[1062] Dependent on a material (rūpī) phenomenon (dhamma) that is a not-root (na-hetu), a phenomenon that is not material (na-rūpī) and is not a not-root (na-nahetu) arises by root condition (hetupaccayā). Dependent on an immaterial (arūpī) phenomenon that is a not-root, a phenomenon that is not immaterial (na-arūpī) and is not a not-root arises by root condition.
