[1218] A phenomenon (dhamma) that is not accompanied by roots (na-sahetuka) and is not a not-root (na-nahetu) is a condition (paccaya) for a phenomenon accompanied by roots (sahetuka) that is a not-root (na-hetu) by root condition (hetu-paccaya).
