[1366] Dependent on a phenomenon (dhamma) that is not a root (na-hetu) and is not accompanied by roots (na-sahetuka), a root (hetu) phenomenon accompanied by roots (sahetuka) arises by root condition (hetupaccayā). Dependent on a phenomenon that is not a root and is not rootless (na-ahetuka), a root phenomenon accompanied by roots arises by root condition. Dependent on a phenomenon that is not a root and is not accompanied by roots, and a phenomenon that is not a root and is not rootless, a root phenomenon accompanied by roots arises by root condition.
