[154] She who, gladdened at heart, gives food and drink,
endowed with virtue (sīla), a female disciple of the Sugata,
having overcome stinginess, gives a gift (dāna)
that leads to heaven, dispels sorrow, and brings happiness;
she obtains divine strength and long life,
having come to the path that is dustless and free from blemish.
Desiring merit, she is happy and free from affliction,
and rejoices for a long time in a heavenly company.
