[181] "Bhikkhus, what is an act not in accordance with the Dhamma (adhammakamma)?
Bhikkhus, if, in an act with a motion as the second [i.e., a motion and one announcement] (ñattidutiya-kamma), one performs the act with a single motion (ñatti) and does not proclaim the announcement of the act (kammavācā), it is an act not in accordance with the Dhamma.
Bhikkhus, if, in an act with a motion as the second, one performs the act with two motions and does not proclaim the announcement of the act, it is an act not in accordance with the Dhamma.
Bhikkhus, if, in an act with a motion as the second, one performs the act with a single announcement of the act and does not set forth the motion, it is an act not in accordance with the Dhamma.
Bhikkhus, if, in an act with a motion as the second, one performs the act with two announcements of the act and does not set forth the motion, it is an act not in accordance with the Dhamma.
Bhikkhus, if, in an act with a motion as the fourth [i.e., a motion and three announcements] (ñatticatuttha-kamma), one performs the act with a single motion and does not proclaim the announcement of the act, it is an act not in accordance with the Dhamma.
Bhikkhus, if, in an act with a motion as the fourth, one performs the act with two motions, with three motions, or with four motions, and does not proclaim the announcement of the act, it is an act not in accordance with the Dhamma.
Bhikkhus, if, in an act with a motion as the fourth, one performs the act with a single announcement of the act and does not set forth the motion, it is an act not in accordance with the Dhamma.
Bhikkhus, if, in an act with a motion as the fourth, one performs the act with two announcements of the act, with three announcements of the act, or with four announcements of the act, and does not set forth the motion, it is an act not in accordance with the Dhamma.
Bhikkhus, this is called an act not in accordance with the Dhamma."
