The Thai Royal Edition expands the elided peyyāla in full, as follows in substance: That bhikkhu Udāyī should approach the Saṅgha, arrange his upper robe over one shoulder … (then, under the heading "Request for mūlāya paṭikassanā"): "Venerable sirs, I fell into one offence, intentional emission of semen (sañcetanikā sukkavisaṭṭhi), concealed for one half-month …" A competent and capable bhikkhu should then inform the Saṅgha by an act with a motion as the fourth (ñatticatutthakamma), thus (under the heading "Proclamation (kammavācā) granting mūlāya paṭikassanā"): "Venerable sirs, let the Saṅgha listen to me. This bhikkhu Udāyī fell into one offence, intentional emission of semen, concealed for one half-month …" Concluding formula: "Six nights' mānatta for one intervening offence, intentional emission of semen, concealed for five days, has been granted by the Saṅgha to the bhikkhu Udāyī. It is pleasing to the Saṅgha; therefore it is silent. Thus do I hold it." There follows the section heading: "Method of granting combined probation (samodhānaparivāsa)."]
