[139] Now on that occasion a certain bhikkhu was ill and was not able to carry his bowl without a sling (sikkā). They reported this matter to the Blessed One. "Bhikkhus, I allow the giving of a sling-authorization (sikkāsammati) to a bhikkhu who is ill."
