[233] Now at that time bhikkhus laid their robes down on beds and on benches, and the robes were damaged. They reported this matter to the Blessed One. He said: "Bhikkhus, I allow, in a dwelling, a bamboo robe-rail (cīvaravaṃsa) and a robe-line (cīvararajju)."
