[238] Now at that time the yard (pariveṇa) was muddy. They reported this matter to the Blessed One. "Bhikkhus, I allow gravel (marumba) to be scattered." It did not suffice… "Bhikkhus, I allow flagstones (padarasilā) to be laid down." Water collected… "Bhikkhus, I allow a water drain (udakaniddhamana)."
