[252] The seṭṭhi of Rājagaha heard: "It is said that the householder Anāthapiṇḍika has invited the Saṅgha headed by the Buddha for tomorrow's meal." Then the seṭṭhi of Rājagaha said this to the householder Anāthapiṇḍika: "It is said, householder, that you have invited the Saṅgha headed by the Buddha for tomorrow, and you are but a newly arrived visitor. I give you, householder, the means of expense (veyyāyika) with which you may prepare the meal for the Saṅgha headed by the Buddha."
"Enough, householder; I have the means of expense with which I shall prepare the meal for the Saṅgha headed by the Buddha."
