[275] Now at that time the group-of-six bhikkhus, by means of a mere pretext (lesakappa), reserved lodgings (senāsana) for themselves … They reported this matter to the Blessed One … "Bhikkhus, a lodging should not be reserved by means of a mere pretext. Whoever should so reserve one commits an offense of wrong-doing (dukkaṭa)."
