[407] "But, venerable sir, having divided a Saṅgha (saṅgha) that is in concord, what does he beget?" "Having divided a Saṅgha that is in concord, Upāli, he begets evil (kibbisa) that lasts for an eon (kappa); he is tormented in hell (niraya) for an eon."
