[574] Now at that time bhikkhus questioned the women about the obstructing conditions (antarāyikā dhammā) of bhikkhunīs. The women seeking full ordination (upasampadāpekkhā) were abashed and embarrassed; they were unable to answer. They informed the Blessed One of this matter.
"Bhikkhus, I allow one who has been fully ordained on one side and has been cleared in the Bhikkhunī Saṅgha to be fully ordained in the Bhikkhu Saṅgha."
