[579] That very moment, having taken her and approached the community of bhikkhus (bhikkhusaṅgha), she should be made to arrange her upper robe over one shoulder, to pay homage at the feet of the bhikkhus, to sit in the squatting posture, to raise her hands in añjali, and to request the full ordination (upasampadā) thus: "Venerable sirs, I, named so-and-so, seeking full ordination under the lady named so-and-so, ordained on one side and purified in the community of bhikkhunīs, request full ordination from the Saṅgha. May the Saṅgha, venerable sirs, raise me up, out of compassion. "Venerable sirs, I, named so-and-so, seeking full ordination under the lady named so-and-so, ordained on one side and purified in the community of bhikkhunīs, for the second time request full ordination from the Saṅgha. May the Saṅgha, venerable sirs, raise me up, out of compassion. "Venerable sirs, I, named so-and-so, seeking full ordination under the lady named so-and-so, ordained on one side and purified in the community of bhikkhunīs, for the third time request full ordination from the Saṅgha. May the Saṅgha, venerable sirs, raise me up, out of compassion."
