[593] Now at that time a certain bhikkhunī was sick and was not able to go on foot. They reported this matter to the Blessed One. "Bhikkhus, I allow a sick bhikkhunī to travel by vehicle (yāna)."
Then it occurred to the bhikkhunīs: "One yoked with females, or one yoked with males?" They reported this matter to the Blessed One. "Bhikkhus, I allow one yoked with females, one yoked with males, and a hand-drawn cart (hatthavaṭṭaka)."
