[598] Now at that time a certain lay follower (upāsaka) had given a storehouse (uddosita) to the Saṅgha of bhikkhunīs. They reported this matter to the Blessed One. "Bhikkhus, I allow a storehouse." The storehouse did not suffice. They reported this matter to the Blessed One. "Bhikkhus, I allow a dwelling (upassaya)." The dwelling did not suffice. They reported this matter to the Blessed One. "Bhikkhus, I allow building work (navakamma)." The building work did not suffice. They reported this matter to the Blessed One. "Bhikkhus, I allow it to be made even as an individual's (puggalika) property."
