[603] Now at that time the bhikkhunīs, being scrupulous, did not consent to salutation (abhivādana), the cutting of hair, the cutting of nails, or the treatment of wounds by men. They reported this matter to the Blessed One. "Bhikkhus, I allow them to consent."
