[604] Now at that time bhikkhunīs (bhikkhunī) sat in the cross-legged posture (pallaṅka), taking pleasure in the contact of the heels. They reported this matter to the Blessed One. "Bhikkhus, a bhikkhunī should not sit in the cross-legged posture; whoever should so sit commits an offense of wrong-doing (dukkaṭa)."
