[605] Now at that time a certain bhikkhunī was sick. Without sitting cross-legged (pallaṅka) she was not at ease. They reported this matter to the Blessed One. He said: "Bhikkhus, I allow a bhikkhunī the half cross-legged posture (aḍḍhapallaṅka)."
