[9] Now at that time a certain bhikkhu was afflicted with scabies (kacchuroga). Without a scrubber (mallaka) he was not at ease. … They reported this matter to the Blessed One. … "Bhikkhus, I allow an unfashioned scrubber (akatamallaka) for one who is sick."
