[1073] "It is true; I too know that such a one is called an unrighteous accuser (adhammacodaka). But I ask you about another matter: of what kind is one called a righteous accuser (dhammacodaka)?" "He accuses at the proper time, with what is true, gently, and with what is connected with benefit; he accuses with a mind of loving-kindness (mettā), not harboring hatred within — such a one is called a righteous accuser."
