Vinayapiṭaka · Parivāra · Vol. 8 · Section 1072

[1072] [Upāli:] "True it is — I too know this: such a one is called a conscientious (lajjī) person. But I ask you about another: what kind of person is called one who accuses contrary to the Dhamma (adhammacodaka)?" [The Blessed One:] "He accuses at the wrong time, with what is untrue, with harsh speech, with what is unconnected with benefit; he accuses with inner hatred, not with a mind of loving-kindness — such a one is called one who accuses contrary to the Dhamma."
